While I have experience treating many types of health conditions, I do my best work in the areas of digestive and adrenal/hormonal health. If you have a question about your particular health condition and my ability to help you, don’t hesitate to contact me and I’ll let you know if I think I can help.
Digestive problems can really wreak havoc on your life. If you’re ready to put in the work to heal, I’m ready to help you get through it! I work with those who suffer from:
- Digestive symptoms like bloating/gas, constipation/diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain but don’t have a diagnosis (though you’ve seen a doctor about it)
- Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO)
- Dysbiosis or microbial imbalance (overgrowth of “bad” bacteria and not enough good bacteria)
- Celiac and gluten intolerance
- FODMAP intolerance
- Food sensitivity
Note: I do my best work with those who haven’t waited so long to address their digestive health that they can only eat a very very limited diet (i.e. 10-15 foods). If your diet is currently this limited, I highly suggest finding a functional medicine doctor who will be able to give you the help you need.
The HPA axis is the control center for all of our stress reactions, and its functionality affects almost every facet of our being. Those with “adrenal fatigue” (more scientifically called “HPA axis dysregulation”) or hormonal problems may experience the following symptoms that respond well to holistic diet and lifestyle change:
- Utter exhaustion, especially compared to previous energy levels
- Problems sleeping (insomnia, multiple wake-ups during the night)
- Feeling stressed out or unable to cope with stressful situations
- Brain fog or difficulty concentrating
- Difficulty exercising (i.e. exercise intolerance)
- Increased allergies
- Multiple infections (colds, viruses, digestive infections, staph, etc)
- Blood sugar imbalance (often low blood sugar)
- Low blood pressure (feeling dizzy when standing from a seated position is a common indicator of this)
- Amenorrhea (lack of a regular period)
Note: I am happy to work with those who have already completed (or are in the midst of completing) my Paleo Rehab: Adrenal Fatigue course. In fact, it is a GREAT addition to our work together!

So…is this really going to work for me?
As with anything when it comes to the human body, there are no guarantees. However, I’ve been working with digestive and adrenal fatigue clients for years and I’ve gotten really good at figuring out what’s going on and healing it from the inside out. I REALLY want you to feel better, and I want to SUPPORT you through the process of getting there.
Will I lose weight?
I am not a weight-loss dietitian, and I also don’t think there’s an “ideal” way that everyone should look. While I don’t focus on weight-loss, I do understand that some may need to lose weight for health reasons (which I take into consideration when making your calorie recommendations). A lot of my clients actually need to GAIN weight, though, and we’ll definitely put in work to get you up to a healthy body weight if that’s something that needs to happen.
What are your coaching hours?
I work with clients on Wednesdays from 12pm ET – 6pm ET.
I’m not located in the US. Can I still work with you?
I’ll be honest and say that I get the best results with those living in the US. This is because they’re able to get the testing I need easily and have access to all the same supplements I do. That said, if you’re international, I will work with you but I just want you to be aware of this upfront!
Are there costs outside of the package cost that I should be aware of?
Yes — you’ll likely need to purchase supplements I recommend (which can vary in cost, of course) and you may potentially need additional testing at some point during our work together. The most common additional testing includes standard labwork like Vitamin D level, a thyroid panel, or other things that should typically be covered by your insurance plan through your regular doctor. You may also need a SIBO testing, stool testing, or adrenal testing, which cost ~$200 to ~$400 each.
I will work with you to figure out what tests make the most sense for you given your budget. I will never recommend testing just for the sake of testing; everything I recommend will actually change how we deal with your health conditions.
What if I can’t afford this?
If these packages are out of your budget, I have two online courses that can help you work through your health issues. Paleo Rehab: Adrenal Fatigue program and the Build Your Biome course both walk you through a very similar process I use with my one-on-one clients to help determine what underlying causes you’re dealing with and help you feel better fast.

“Seriously, Second to None!”
I have been dealing with hypoglycemia for quite a long time now (since I was about 11 and am now 30). I have worked with other dietitians in the past, with no great results (one of them still was recommending grains and such, the other’s plan was entirely too rigid (this opinion is coming from a paleo eater). I came across Kelsey when reading from Dr. Chris Kresser’s blog. He recommends Kelsey as a dietician (as do I). From the initial consultation you can tell: she takes what she does seriously, she does a ton research and she really cares for her patients. I decided to work with her for a month. Before I go on, let me say this: my blood sugar had been going haywire for a few months. I was trying so many different things but nothing really worked. I’ve been eating paleo for quite a while so there weren’t any drastic changes (I had been through those a long time ago when I originally went paleo). Kelsey helped me to fine tune and dial-in what things were working for me and what weren’t (even aside from food, i.e. stress, sleep, etc.). Side note: it’s important to use a meal tracker so she can see what’s going on. She added some more foods that I originally strayed from. She is so full of knowledge and understanding of how the body reacts to foods. I’m so stoked to say that sticking with her recommendations I’ve had no hypoglycemia problems. I plan to do check-in sessions every 3 months or so. Thanks again Kelsey 🙂
“Working Our Way Through the Maze”
Kelsey provided essential guidance from start to finish. From which tests to order, how to interpret them and how to proceed. Her commitment to ongoing research, her understanding of an individual’s unique needs regardless of any prevailing dogma and follow through make her an invaluable ally in reaching one’s health goals.
I really benefited from working with Kelsey for about a month, or five sessions. Having complex chronic health issues is so confusing, especially when you are getting advice from all directions about millions of different things. In terms of diet, Kelsey really helped simplify it for me, and gave me an abundance (but not too many!) resources to move forward. So much is contingent on your own actions, and since our sessions I have fallen off the diet and gotten back on more than once. The great thing is I know what to do, I know how to start again, and I can still get follow up help from Kelsey if I need it via email or by booking another appointment.

After dealing with IBS and severe GERD for years and at times reaching levels of severe despair, I now have hope. Kelsey has been very helpful in helping me recover from adrenal fatigue, and digestive problems. I’m pretty knowledgeable about diet and nutrition, but Kelsey was able to walk me through some self-experimentation and helped me to improve some lingering and persistent issues I was dealing with. She was knowledgeable and friendly and I’m sure I’ll work with her again in the future if I get “stuck” again.

My hypoglycemic episodes are MUCH less frequent, even though I’m eating more carbs than before. I haven’t had any hypoglycemia in the last few days.

I came to Kelsey because I had been eating a GAPS then Paleo diet for about 8 months. I was feeling much better stomach wise and energy wise, but I had gained weight and couldn’t understand why that was happening. Kelsey helped me to figure out that I may have gone TOO low carb. She helped me to add healthy carbs into my meals. She also helped me to figure out what supplements I should continue to take to support my gut health now that I was in the clear, but wanted to maintain a healthy gut. I have been in an autoimmune elimination diet for 30 days that’s been pretty strict. Speaking with Kelsey made me feel supported and on the right track, she also helped me recognize some trail markers so that it’s less ambiguous when I can start reintroducing foods again.
